Thanks gals for the welcoming. It is nice to see that your not the only one. I'm from a very small town so I need to travel at least an hour or more to a doctor. That is why I tried to put some feelers out... not happy with the one i have now..... Misymagoo

Welcome to the board. A group of great people here who are very supportive and have great ideas.

I am in Washington state so not any help to you in NY. I could recommend some here. I do understand having to travel to get to a good doctor. My rheumy is in Seattle, about a 30 mi drive, but well worth it. I just try to plan my appt times so I am out of the city before rush hour hits. Or I do some shopping and have dinner at a favorite restaurant and go home later.

Hopefully your weather has treated you better than ours has here. Floods in the river valley, but I am on top of a hill, so safe there.
