I am 26 years old and have been diagnosed with SLE for 3 years. I have had a lot of flare ups this year and been in and out of the hospital for about 5 weeks. Hello....just need some Lupus support!:blush:

I'm glad you have found this site. It is a great source of support, advice and a good deal of fun too at times.

I'm sorry to hear that you have been so ill this year and had so many flare ups.

I am living in Belgium - kind of an expat I suppose (I am about to celebrate the anniversary of half my life here - scary :lol - and no-one speaks a word of English around this remote area. There are certainly no lupus support groups!

I've not been diagnosed as yet but just wanted to say welcome and that I hope you are well!
I know I've said to many new comers that this site is wonderful but it truly is!!!! The people around here are very supportive and have a wealth of knowledge so any query I'm sure that someone can help

Welcome to the group.
I have had a lot of flare ups this year too and this group has been fantastic in supporting me and answering questions. I was diagnosed in 2000 but have had lupus symptoms since a teenager (too long ago to remember almost).
Just ask away on this site and someone will pop up with a helping hand or an answer.

I live in Florida and have been dealing with lupus for the last couple of years...It has been a pretty hot summer ..... and I have been going through flare ups myself.... keep cool and get plenty of rest... I hope things get back to "normal" for you pretty soon.
