Hi all,
My brother strained the tendons in his forearms last week and had to have both arms strapped up.However,he has just been told that x-rays taken show that there is no cartilage between his wrist joints anymore and it is just bone on bone:(
Does anyone know if this is a Lupus ,mixed connective tissue disease thing?he has had lots of symptoms but no diagnosis as yet.He is 39,
thanks,
Julsie

Hi Julsie,

The loss of cartilage can happen to anyone. My father-in-law is bone on bone in his knee and now needs a knee replacement.

Since he has symptoms he should be tested though.

Take care,
Lazylegs
