Can anyone advise me what the normal range is for anti double-stranded DNA, ENA and complement levels? I'm trying to interpret all my blood test results.
Unfortunately, levels will vary by lab (if only slightly) so it will be really hard to tell you what's normal for your lab for all those tests.
Here is a link to my lab's results... this is the "C" page so will have links to reference ranges for my lab (which may give you some idea for your lab). You can go to other tests by clicking on the alphabetic letters at the top.
But please keep in mind that your lab may be different, and you also need to know the units of measurement. Here's the link:
With your blood test results did you get signs like ''.
'< meaning below range'
'> meaning above range'
Labs will also normally give you a numer as well lowest to highest, then you have to factor in whether a certain result is high or low in figure to be classed as good or bad in respect of any problem!
In reality nobody on this site can interperet your bloods as all labs are very different in there interpretation and volumes!
You need to get an explanation of any results from your GP (lots don't really understand many non-standard tests), and more so get results explained by your specialists!
Have you any results that you can post as written by the lab, perhaps it will be more helpful if we could see what has been sent to you verbatum!
Take care!
