Hi June,

Sorry I have no idea what this might be - but I wanted to send you comforing thoughts and hope it goes away soon.

What dosage of steroids are you on, and what did you step down from?

With highish doses it is possible that the staroids are masking most of the symptoms of an infection. It is probably better to get the double vision checked out - eyes are important... (not that oter body parts aren't).

All the best, and let us know when you do find out what is going on.

Hi June,
I've got this constant pressure at the back of my nose and sometimes radiating into my ears. Would love to know what its about.
Vision a bit blurry too especially first thing in the morning. I also feel a bit 'swimmy' if you know what I mean. Like getting used to new glasses.

My meds have been constant and other symptoms not too bad at present.

Hi June B,

I have blurred vission every morning. It take's about 30 minutes before eyes are normal, plus my vision starts bluring when I'm tired. My sight in between is okay, but I do ensure I visit the opticians once a year due to ongoing eye problems (I also attend an eye specialist).

I get nose pain to which spreads to ears, jaw and forehead - mine I have been told is to with sinuses being inflammed. You do not need a cold for this to occur, but it can be painful. Do you get dizzy and pain when you tip your head down - if you look up Sinusitis on the NHS Direct website it will help you check your symptoms!

I would perhaps have an eye check to make sure your eyes are okay and see the GP regarding the pain/pressure if it continues.

Take care and let us know the outcome!
