Thanks so much for bringing this to our awareness Carol !

I found these links for speedy reference. Of course there are tons of articles about it and reams of commentary but these seem to stick to facts.

I am so careful about kitchen hygiene and avoiding foodstuffs that are known risks for food poisoning. I don't know if any of these products are exported. Thanks again and I hope your health is still improving

ps. well the health is not serious, but I have one cold/virus ,stomach flu after the other. it is getting rather boring and scary

the spring will bring fresh air and being able to open the windows and people getting out from the germs should help.

I heard on the news the other night that some of the tainted peanut butter or pb products were sent to Canada. They didn't advise about export elsewhere in the world.

Personally, I threw out the half full jar I had in the fridge. Living alone, and sticking to a celiac diet, I don't make sandwiches often. So, a small jar lasts me several months.

When I was at Whole Foods on Thursday, a chain of "health food" stores, picked up some "organic" pb. The shelves of pb there were very low stock. Since the store keeps its shelves well stocked, I trust the outbreak had a lot to do with it.

In my opinion, the execs who kept "shopping" for a clean lab test, should be federally prosecuted for the deaths and those who were made ill. These people have caused unconscionable horrors in lives and should be held accountable for their actions.
