Dear Jen

I am so very glad that things swung into action but sorry they werent quicker. However the good thing is that you KNOW that now. While you are in a better head space, make absolutely sure that if this happens again, your nearest and dearest will immediately respond to the early signs. You are right in that making plans now for the future is very, very important. You are clearly in no condition to make good decisions for yourself when things have gone too far :hugbetter:

Last night sounds like an absolute nightmare :worried: No wonder you are exhausted:hug:

I hope you can sleep more peacefully tonight and that the steroids and upcoming rituxan help you tremendously.

Much love dear lady and thank you for letting us know how you are

.Hi Jen,

I am so glad you got the help you needed to start you back on the right track. Hopefully your sessions with the psychologist will help you see the wonderful person you really are.

Good luck with the Rituxan infusion on Wednesday. I will be thinking of you as I am getting one the same day.

flutterbye,
That is wonderful news and I am glad that you seem to be feeling a little better. It is truely hard when you don't feel well at all to be at your best. I am glad that the steriods are working for you as they are wonderful things as long as used right and for the right reasons. Some doctors and people think they are the answer to everything and that jsut is not true. It is wonderful that you seem to be on the road to getting a better plan in place.

(((((((((Jen)))))))) it's wonderful to hear that you were able to get help and that things are moving in the right direction now. I'm so relieved and happy as well :)

I will as always keep you in my thoughts and I hope that this episode is brief and the meds will work their usual wonders for your state of mind.

sending lupie hugs,

Thanks for the update Jen.......its really brave of you.

I agree that you need to have some firmer plan made so that the medics intervene quicker when things are going wrong.
Rest well and good luck

Hi Jen,

I'm very glad to hear that you have finally got the help that you have needed for sometime now. Hopefully this will be a lesson to all concerned and mean that thigs won't have to get so bad if it ever happens again.

It really is essential to realise when things are getting bad with this disease. It is very tempting to think, it's just a down patch and it will get better but sometimes we get too used to the down and don't realise that our illness is wildly out of control.

hugs and here's wishing a speedy recovery to your usual self

Hi Jen :hugbetter:

The whole nature of the mental stuff is that we DON'T realise it's getting bad :( so please don't berate yourself for that :rose:

I just wanted to send you strengthening hugs for your first CBT session, as you say it won't be easy for you, but ultimately it's the best way to put YOU back in control. It hardly seems fair though that in order for that to happen you have to face it head on :( You are strong though, more than you realise Jen and you have us to lean on you know, you don't have to go this alone :)

All the hugs in the world dear lady  we are right behind you all the way.

love

Jen, many hugs for you, you are doing great
I had a very dear friend that had to go through something that she was having problems with. I suggested that she place an item in her pocket that would remind her of here. and everytime things became diffucult at her appointment , that she would reach into her pocket and hold it, the item represented everyone here. so we were all there for her holding her hand

this worked great for her. knowing we were all there holding her hand
it doesnt work for everyone and some people think it is silly, but hey if it works why not

take care my friend
I hope all comes together for you
