I went to my primary care doctor because Ive been having extreme fatigue and joint pain I have also had some side pain that comes and goes like kidney pain I've been treated for a uti but the side pain still comes and goes. My doctor performed and ANA screening C-reactive and ESR all came back elevated and or positive but she said my numbers where low so it could be something else. Currently the joint pain has increased and Is now all throught my body. Some days I find it hard to move and it's getting frustrating. I also had a rheumatoid test done but that was negative ! Is there any other test i need done for a definite diagnosis ? Thanks in advance for the feedback

Hi and welcome to the site. It would be good to keep a journal of your symptoms, noting pain on a score of 1-10 and keeping a record of any rashes, fevers etc. Take photo's of any rashes as they tend to disappear before appts. This will helps the doctor to see what is haapening between appts.

If the joint pain has got worse then you may need to go back to the doctor.

Welcome.

Unfortunately there is no one diagnostic test for Lupus. The doctor takes the bloods and symptoms into account when making a diagnosis. It may take time for a clearer picture to emerge.

Take care,
