Hi all,

I saw the doc today for my 6 week post op and all is looking good. I have a rubberband feeling that the doc told me I should start stretching it because it is most likely scar tissue forming.

She checked internal as well and found some granular tissue on my cervix that she removed. She explained to me what it was, but I really cannot remember what she said. Is granular tissue just a fancy word for scar tissue? She kind of seemed surprised that it was there. I am guessing it was from the cold knife cone that I had in December. I have to go back in a month for a follow-up pap.

I go back to work tomorrow and 5am will be here very shortly. I have been sleeping until 8 or nine, so it will be rough getting up so early.

Take care,
Lisa

Thanks, my first day was tough, just rolling in and out with my chair used muscles I hadn't used in a while. It has been a week now and today and I feeling more soreness and by the end of the night I am so swelled that I feel like I am pregnant. I hope that gets better once my muscles get back into shape. It has been 7 weeks now and I really thought I would be better than this. I feel like I need two different size pants, one for morning and one for afternoon. The first few days I felt rested and now I am back to feeling tired. I am trying to take my time with everything, but I have so much going on that it is all getting a bit overwhelming. I hope things get better soon.

Take care,
Lisa
