What is protein C? Mine is high on my blood test. Now I'm really scared.

I tried to google but I dont understand. From what I say that means high risk for heart attack or stroke? Please help me.

I had emailed my dr and told her that my protien C level was high.
She emailed back saying it is only relavent if it is low.
I ask her what high means and I'm waiting to hear back.

Thank you very much. I do see your point now. I shouldnt be wasting my my energy worring about something I dont know anything about. This is all new to me and I do appreciate your imput. I did talk to dr and high levels mean nothing. It is ok. Low levels is the problem. I will wait for the rest of my tests such as EEG and SSEP are done and then I can sit with her and talk.
