Hi...sorry, yet another question !! Im in flare mode and have been for the past two weeks, and its the worse yet !
Does anyone else get blisters in their mouth ?
Today i have several tiny white blisters inside my lower lip area, it feels abit puffy and numb...and the whole area is very red !
Is this just another sign of the flare ?
I have had several new symptoms this time around and im thinking is this just Lupus ?
But i dont want to go to the doctor to start a whole new barrage of tests.
I so wish there was an easy answer to all of this and i felt well.
My partner and i so need a break from this and im finding it hard today to keep smiling !!

sorry you are having this problem and are flaring.

i think its a good idea to go to the doctor, especially since you are flaring. mouth sore are common in lupus. i just recently found them in my own mouth. until you can get to the doctor try rinsing with warm salt water for some temp relief. sorry i don't have in better suggestions, but being in the dental industry for as long as i was i do know that mouth ulcer get relief from warm salt water rinsing.

feel better and keep us posted
take care

Howdy Ali,
Ah, how familiar are the blisters! I really really hate them.
Mouth wash, sore mouth medicine, sprays, essence of caroid (whatever that is), salt water, mouthwash and time.
Oh. And try not to bite your tongue.:)
Good luck!

Hi Ali, Those darn mouth ulcers are the worst. All the above are good soultions, and also "Colgate Paste", it is at the drug store, right beside the ambesol. Just make sure myou get the paste. I do hope that you have found a Rheumatologist. I wish you the best.

Yes Ali, Im feeling ya. This how I know I am flaring. Mouth ulcers. I use a sensitive tooth paste and the rheumie perscribes a steriod paste which has been good for me. I always keep it refilled because I never know when I going to start flaring. Good luck to ya.

Ali,
Hi and I can understand how this can and is overwhelming most ofthe time. You have to find what works most of the time to help you feel better for you. Has the doctor given you anything to help with your mouth? I would be calling and asking for something. I am not sure if there is something over the counter that can help in the mean time. You can ask the pharmacy if there is something to help. I hope you feel better soon.
