Thanks for the warm welcome Guys,

I do have a question, but not sure where to post...does anyone get lumps (kinda like hives) on their face/chin? They don't really hurt or itch, and they're not red but they do feel very strange...thank-goodness they don't last very long (about a day usually).

Hi Andria

I moved this post into the Symptoms Forum and re-titled it because you are more likely to get responses here especially if the title reflects the question. Members sometimes skim through titles and if they can help they will often stop by and reply:)

I have sent you a Private Message to let you know its been moved as I dont want you to be searching all over the boards for it! :)

Take care

Hi Andria,
I get hives rashes a lot. Always have done from when I was a kid. No known reason.
I sometimes get them on my face or anywhere really. They often appear where there is any pressure on my body like waist bands etc.
They are like white lumps under the skin that grow bigger and then disappear without a trace after a while. They can be red around them and I must admit mine usually itch.
Should think you should get yours checked out just to check it is hives. Like everyone says probably a good idea to take a picture of them as typically they disappear when you want to show the doctor.
Best wishes

Hi Andria, I get facial hives a lot. Some of them itch, but only mildly, and some of them don't. I don't usually get lots of them at one time, but it can be anywhere from 1 to 7 at a time. They seem to have their favorite hangouts :): next to the nose behind my glasses, at the top of my cheekbone, and on my chin, although I've had them in other places too.

I rarely get any hives on the rest of my body, but I almost always have at least one or two on my face. It's rare to be free of them.

I usually don't know why they appear, but sometimes it's as simple as something - anything, it seems - lightly touching my face.
