Does this come and go from day to day?

I looked at a photo of it yesterday and thought, "my face is always doing that" It did it loads in the winter when I'd been driving on sunny days. I'd get home and my hubby would say, "you are really red" it would look like I'd got sunburned. Its done it a bit over the summer, and it keeps going red rather than brown like it always used to, but only for a day or few hours. Could this be buterfly and should I tell my rheumy when I next see him?

It's certainly possible to be the butterfly rash, and definitely tell the rheumy about it but better yet take a closeup picture of your face when you have the redness so that you can show the rheumy what you are talking about.

Mine usually would stick around for several days to weeks, but would get more red after time out in the sun in particular.

Hi there, taking a picture of your rash is the only way to get an answer, when you show it to your Rheumy, he will decide what it is.
Best wishes.
