Hi

I just wondered if anyone else who gets a rash has as similar problem? My rash is currently affecting me around my mouth (this was how it first materialised) it feels all prickly hot and now it has started to affect the insides of my mouth like I have severe burning, it is also swollen.

I look like I have had a very bad cosmetic procedure! Not at all funny. I just wondered if anyone can suggest anything to put on it to help calm it down?

Hi Star, Boy, I can't even imagine how much pain you must be in. I feel
so sorry for you. I have only had the cracks at the corners of my mouth.
That doesn't help you very much, except if it were me, I would go to my
dermatologist a.s.a.p. He shouls be able to tell you and give you something
for it. Let us know what happ[ens. And smile.

This reminds me of when I had peri-oral dermatitis, although I don't remember it spreading to the inside of my mouth.

Treatment for me was oral antibiotics and stopping using facial treatments of any kind other than a very gentle soap. The article states it tends to be a long term problem but it certainly wasn't for me. It was a one time thing (so far... knock on wood!)
