Hi Wendy,
I had exactly the same thing, it came up on my forearms last Thursday and has now gone down, my gp said he thought this was a photosensitive rash and strangely enough since we had all this rain over the past few days it has started to go down!

I would get it checked out by your gp.

Hi Wendy,
not sure about your rash.
Mine was not itchy and yes was on both fore arms rigt side more than left, inside, so if palms were facing up it would be seen.
My gp said he thought it was a photosensitive rash not a heat rash because it looked like eczema but was not itcy atall.
Not sure if this will help. :)
Hope you manage to figur yours out!!

Hi ladies
No i wish i had, I have taken photos of my hands and face but i wish i had of this rash. Its now faded, you can still feel the rough texture of the skin where it was.
Your right Lesley its definately a good idea to get photo evidence though!

PS - I never took photo's before my diagnoses as I had no idea that I was this ill!

I do take pics now - they are still apparently useful just to see how things are being controlled or not!

Hi Wendy,
no it wasn't really like goosebumps but pink but actually i do get that in several places, this was more pronounced, definately more like eczema, but not itchy.

I must say that site was useful - I dont have that type of rash,

BUT I have seen many, many people with it and I'm sure they all can't have Lupus, they are just normal people (if there is a normal)! Always see it on people in the Summer when clothes are more sparse!

Love Lesley

I am getting rather lost in this thread but if we are talking about keratosis pilaris I don't think it has anything to do with lupus or any other A-I CTD.

Here's a good article about it with useful comments on possible treatments and management
