Hey you all, this is my first post, and really asking opinions. Here is my situation. Im a 23yo male, who had lower backpain for about 4 years. When i finally get checked out, its my kidney. Said i have a lot of calcium deposits and some blood in urine. I have taken a 24hour urine collection, but have no results yet.. Ive always been extremely thin, with more heart pain than i would call "normal" but never really checked... Here recently, and very sudden, my usual thick, very well kept hair, is extremely thin, receding, and have small red bumps under the hair befor that area balds... Im extremely worried about it. Im praying that my hair will grow back in there areas.. its thinning all over, but rly balding/receding on the temple area and up... thank you for any help/opinions... if more info is needed, ask away..

p.s. after readin through the site, i found something about "lupus hair".. and i have felt that on my head, hair that is rly just a stub, when it should be as long as rest of hair (inches)

Hi Kev, welcome to this wonderful site. I am quite sure that you will
have help with most all of your questions. I think that you think you
might have lupus, but has anyone actually said the word lupus ?
If you are not getting very far with your GP, then you need to ask
him to give you a referral to be seen by a Rheumatologist, that would be the dr. that would diagnosis. Lupus is called the disease
of 1,000 faces, because that is how many other diseases' mimic
lupus. Now can you see while it is so hard to diagnose? Try to get
to a Rheumy first, and let us know what happens. Don't give up.:wink2::rolleyes:
