WOW Donna I am sorry your appointment did not go well. I would give you the same advice you gave yourself, find a new Rheumatologist that will work with you, not against you and one who really listens to what you have to say.

I found that I had to kiss a lot of toads before I found my prince. A really good doctor is a dime a dozen so don't give up just keep looking for a better one.

Sending hugs your way in hopes that tomorrow is a better day for you.:wink2:

Hi Donna,

I think maybe it is time for you to follow up the suggestion of going to the Manchester Royal Infirmary... there was a post very recently about how wonderful one member found the team there. It might be a bit further to travel but it's worth traveling to get to true lupus specialists.

Donna,

Looks like it is time to move Rheumatologists and the Manchester Infirmary may be a good option. I would PM those people that have been there recently and ask them the name of their Rhuematologist. When you have the name tell your GP who you want to see that is if you agree that going to that hospital is the best option for you!
