Hi all,
I was feeling pretty good, not wonderful but not bad for a few weeks, then this week fatigue & pain has tripled, my hands & feet are fat sausages & i just hurt all over & feel like ****. Why can't they find anything wrong, no one who's healthy feels like this. If i was a horse they would have shoot me years ago.
And still waiting for the specialist appt.
Sand....

How much longer must you wait? Is the appointment at least scheduled? Iam sorry your suffering so badly without answers. It is a shame but so many of us were in the same boat you are in right now and sometimes it can take a while before we get answers.

Keep your chin up as best you can.:wink2::wink2::wink2:

Hi Karol,
The appt is'nt even scheduled yet, the Rhumie did say it could be months before i even hear from them & months after that before the appt.
& if it comes back clear, she does not want to se me again. (sigh)
What to do?
Thanks Hun for your quick reply, i need a good kick in the arse, NO i need to know what's going on.I trully think that i have SLE and it just is not showing up in the tests yet.
That's my rant for now.

If it comes back clear then she does not want to see you again?????? WHAT, I do not understand this mentality at all.:mad::mad:

Wonder if she knows about serum negative Lupus??? Gosh I guess my hopes would then be that something show up in the blood work just so you can get some help.

The kick in the butt...............that won't help ya!!!:lol::lol::wink2::wink2::wink2:

Hi Karol,
I got fed up with waiting to hear from her and faxed her office, they phoned & left a message all blood work negative.

Hi, I was just wondering if you had taken photos of your swollen hands and feet? In case they are not like that when you get to see the doc. It can help them to build a clearer picture of what is happening between appts. I am sorry you are struggling with docs, the road to diagnosis is tough. Keep going, you will get there.

Take care

dodgy results

i was told much the same thing, it wasnt until i saw another doctor who read my results(and understood them) instead of the doctor that ordered the tests and told me everything was ok/negative, because she didnt understand them, that i discovered that my ANA did infact come back borderline and i need to have a re test in 3 months, had i not asked for the results to be explained to me i would never have known, if you are not happy go back.its our body and we feel the discomfort we owe it to ourselves
all the best betty1
