Are there any lupus specialists or clinics in Scotland? Officially I come under Aberdeen, but our small NHS can refer outside Grampian if necessary. I did try to get a referral to St Thomas's but they wouldn't approve that without a recommendation from a rheumatologist from Grampian, and the one I saw (for all of 15 minutes then discharged from clinic) definitely wasn't a lupus specialist.

Hi Cemc,

I've been having a dig about for you - there is a Grampian Lupus Group which can be contacted through Lupus UK www.lupusuk.com. They have been operating in the area since 1980 and should be able to give you some advice.

I live in the Glasgow area and there is Lupus Rheumatologist at the clinic I attend but I've never seen him. There are 5 Rheumy's and it's the pick of the bunch which one you get which I don't like at all.

Hope that helps.

Hugz,

Pam xxx
