Thank You Clare for all the info !
Can you tell me {newbie} what the classic "butterfly" pattern would be called ? Clinical or proper name?
I have rash on each side of my nose ,spreading to my ears and on my chin..
Just always thought I had allergies ,as it comes and goes. Have had some scarring over the years..

Hi Carla,

The medical name for the the butterfly rash is malar rash.
