I am sorry ahead of time for the venting.I had been feeling pretty good for about 6 months or so but not anymore.I dont really know what is going on but i am in so much pain quite a bit of time and the fatigues is unbearable at times.I feel like my brain has left the building:hehe:.I am not sure if it the lupus or the fibro.I do see my rhueme this monday the 2nd of febuary.I made this appointment like three weeks ago because i was having a great big flare i guess i want to call it.Things no doubt have not gotten any better no doubt.

I been as many know already been having an awful lot of financial stress in my life and hubby did go back to work for a week but now again layed off for another week then back for one more then again :lol:layed off.Eventually he will be layed off premently.I been having an awful lot of migraines also that could be from the fibro or the lupus.I will let you know when i find anything out but until then thank everyone for letting me vent :rotfl:.I cant think anymore so i will stop.

Thanks Tammy McDonald

I am so sorry to hear you are still dealing with you pain.
It is great your rhumey appointment is Monday. I hope she figures something out for you and gives you relief.
Hopefully she will help you with your migraines.

It must be so hard for you right now with your hubby laid off.:( I hope he finds a permanent job real soon.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Lyn

Tammy,

Sorry to hear that you have been having such a bad time of it lately. You really do have a full plate with the layoffs and then these flares sure aren't helping the situation. Sending you my best and hope you get some answers Monday.

migraines

Hi Tammy,

I'm sorry to hear about the strain. About the migraines...I had a 3 week stint of them and scrimped on my food intake for awhile to save up for a massage. I just had him work on my neck, back of scalp where the tendons connect and base of neck. It took two sessions but made a huge difference. If you can reallocate funds it might help work the stress out of the area and then relax your headaches.

Best wishes,
chel

I'm sorry you're going through so much right now. I have a rheumy appointment too tomorrow - but just a routine follow up appointment for me. I'll be thinking of you while I'm there and hoping you get some help and good suggestions to get an improvement for your symptoms. :)

Take care and I hope things improve soon...

Hello there Tammy

Good luck with your appointment on Monday. I hope you get the migraines at least sorted out because they are horrid. I am not surprised you are feeling so rotten. The stress of your husband's work situation is bad enough without all the rest. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Dear Tammy

Im sorry to hear you are in so much pain. I have no doubt that the recent stresses in your life have taken their toll. Not only do you have the financial worries with your husbands job :worried: but then there is the worry you have about your sister too

I think migraines must rank right up there as one of the most debilitating things to have to live with :worried: :hugbetter:

Let us know how things go with your appointment Tammy and I hope you can get some relief soon.

Much love

Dear Tammy, Just to let you know I am thinking of you. I wish there were something I could say. If you need any help with restructuring your finances or getting debt counselling to make your situation easier, do find an agency who can help. You need to keep a roof over your head and your family warm and fed, if you can't meet non priority debts then that is that. You certainly won't be the first it has happened to. (And that includes me when our children were small and my Husband unexpectedly lost a good job) Money worries are miserable but they are not worth being ill over.

((((((((((((Tammy))))))))))) Your health situation alone is enough to deal with let alone your husband being laid off :( Many hugs to you friend and I hope that you get some relief from those migraines.

Hi Tammy,
I would not be surprised to find out that your migraines are from the stress of what is going on at the moment. I am sorry that all this is going on with the health problems you have also. I will cross my finger that your hubby will not be one of the ones finally laid off as too many are loosing jobs already. I am also sorry it has taken so long to get into the doctor, that is a problem we all face these days. It seems that the doctors are packed and wish there was a way we could get in to see them earlier as it is needed at the time of on set not weeks later when it is so bad. I guess I have a few vents myself lol. If you need to talk just leave a message would love to vent with you. We may not be able to change what is happening at the moment but it might make us feel better to get it off our chest lol.

Hi Everyone

I am going to attempt to tell you how my appointment went today.I have to tell you in is like 11:00pm and my brain is running on empty .It was a good appointment even though i am not exactly sure of what is causing most of my pain and fatigue and headaches. We did discuss the ones above my head are migrianes and do go away with the imetrex so probably is not from the lupus because the imetrex would not get rid of it if it was from the lupus.Okay does it make sense to everyone.I am tired what can i say .We did discuss my lack of brain power also and she was wonderful while i was talking she wrote down everything and asked lots of questions also.

She did give me a shot of prednizone or she called it something like kellog or kennel log :rotfl:.I dont remember what it was but it was in my bottom:lol:.No it did not really hurt but it did hurt my egol:rotfl:.Someone in here just might know what i am talking about unless i am way off of the spelling lol.Well it seems to be helping out already on the pain level anyway but i just got it will see how tomorrow goes. She did tell me that the last labs of mine one of the lupus labs was a little low but of course i did not ask which ones, but she did the labs again even though i was there just like two months ago.So she is supposed to call me like thursday or friday.I am really hoping she does and when i know you will know promise.Time for me to go to beddy bye getting real tired.
Thank you everyone for helping me so much again.I will let you know anymore as i no something if that makes sense at all.Hope everyone is doing well and if you are not i hope you will be real soon((((((hugs)))))))).

I just wanted to give everyone an update about how i am feeling these days and how my labs came back from the doctor on monday.I am not sure how many read it but she gave me a kenalog shot in the toushy:lol:eek:uch it hurt .Well anyway it has helped me tremendously with the pain i had been expierencing a lot of it for some time now.So i was very glad for that shot for sure. She called me today the rhueme did to tell me that my white blood count was kind of low i think she said lol sorry i can remember what exactly she said but then there was one of my other labs that was slightly up there from last year about this time so she wants me to come in every six weeks to get one of those shots and believes it is most likely a lupus flare.
This has not been to good of a day as i am really tired and getting a headache so going tp lay down and see if the headaches gets better or worse.Take care everyone and sure hope all the snow has gone away for everyone in the Uk.

Hello Tammy, Glad you are a little better.
I live a long way South and our weather was remarkably kind to us. I did go to London by train yesterday and although that was fine the fields either side of the Railway tracks were beautiful still. I find it a little cold at home as our Central Heating could do with updating, and my Husband likes fresh air and leaves windows and doors wide open.
