"I have SLE, RA, Sjogrens, Raynauds, and more. My ANA has a speckled pattern. My sister was just tested. "Nuclear, Dense, Finely Speckled" Is that Nucleolar or Speckled? I was dx 20 years ago and the new tests, procedures, verbiage, and processes are confusing me.

Hi Stephie,

Written this way is new to me also. Researching it I came up with nothing other than nuclear means attacking the cell nucleus but no other site backed that up. That being said Nuclear and Nucleolar would be 2 different things. It appears to be finely speckled rather than course. Now the detective works begins to decide which disease or diseases your sister has.

Take care,
Lazylegs
