I couldn't get my air. I ripped off my CPAP mask twice in a week just could get my air. I had this stupid cough, figured regular ongoing cough.

I couldn't stand the pain in my chest, so figured it was Pleurisy again. Lucky for me, last Thursday when I went to the hospital by ambulance, there waiting for me it seem was an asthma specialist. He put me on a nebulizer for 15 minutes, rechecked my airway, put me on some antibiotics (bronchial asthma, and bronchitis), sent me home. He told me that I had to get off the inhalers I am on, because I am allergic to them because they were causing me more congestion, that my asthma wasn't be controlled.

I hate not being able to breath. I am scared I can't get a diagnoses and possibily get on medication to help with my lupus symptoms. My doctor won't put me on very much medicaiton because of my severe allergies.

I am getting more depressed daily. NO HELP

Today, I take my last antibiotic, my chest still hurts. My ears down into my throat still hurts. At least I am finally get the phelm up.

I see my family doctor tomorrow, about last blood work, and papers I asked him to fill out over a year ago. I will try to get him to put my on another inhaler I am not allergic too. He will likely not do anything. I am still waiting for referral for respritologist, not like going to happen. I guess I will have to wait until I see my naturalpath, on the 10th.

hugs

Hi Gerri,

Not being able to breathe like that must have been very frightening for you. I wish you luck finding an inhaler that works for you.

Is this the same GP you were having problems with back in October? Whatever happened with the nurse trying to help you get better care? It really sounds like you need to see someone else.

Take care,

LazyLegs, I thought I finally had someone working with me. I was to get reports about my Adrenal gland and reports sent to her from my family doctor. I signed papers for her to release all papers to me. It's February, I still haven't received anything.

I called they said the papers were sent to my old address???? This was odd because I gave them my new address, and made sure they had my new address before I left my last appointment. I called two weeks ago, and they said the papers were on there way. I don't think I am ever going to see these papers.

Since October, I have been diagnosed with a Hiatus Hernia, inflammation from GERD's, Gluten Intolerant, my liver enzymes rising, my cholesterol out of whack again, my CRP, ESR are above normal, my hands, face are swollen, diabetic and can't go on medication, Had problems with sleep apnea, sent for another sleep study. Yes this the same doctor I was having problems with in October.

Last month I started seeing a Naturalpath MD, to me but also a Practicing family doctor, diagnosed me with Raynaulds, possible severe adrenal fatigue, and thyroid problems. Confirmed diagnoses of Vitiligo. I see this dr. again on the 10th. I like him, and sure he will help me, but I have to drive over an hour to see him.

Today, my liver is paining me, at least I think it's my liver. My GERDs is also joining in the pain.

I don't know how to get help. I am stressing out about seeing this idiot doctor tomorrow. I need the papers he is filling out. I am taking someone with me.

Thanks for being there for me.

Hugs

Gerri,

This past month I saw pneumonia, pleuritis ans asthmatic bronchitis..so I know first hand how frightened, frustrated and tired you must be. Nebulizers, antibiotics, steroids the works...Please dont let it get you down..instead use it to fuel you to demand answers and hold doctors accountable for them.

I see you saw an asthma doctor..but have you tried seeing a pulmonologist who might have a different insight into your problem?

I do hope you have some luck at the doctor tomorrow and are feeling better soon. Keep us posted.

Hi Sharron, the last pulmonologist I seen was about 5 years ago now. I was diagnosed with mild COPD caused by bronchial asthma, and Bronchitis. He also said I had scaring on my lungs.

I had a doctor at the time, say congratulations you don't have asthma. I asked her if I should stop my inhalers that I have been using for 25 years. She then say they must be working, keep using them. Boy!!!! doctors can quickly change their medical advise :), especially, when she realized she had just errorred big time.

I would like to rechecked as it has been 5 years. My family doctor has made no referrals I have asked for since being with him for the last two years.

My family doctor, I see today, I expect nothing from. It's has taken him a year half to fill out an income tax credit form. **** sorry - I do expect him to finally have this paper completed **** As to offering addiquate medical advise, not likely. I get my two presciptions filled. That is all I know he can handle.

Hugs
