Does anyone have any advice on travel insurance or could anyone recommend a good company? I'm going to Australia in june and its going to cost me a fortune i can just tell!! Are there special companies who know about SLE? Thanks for any advice...my friend who i'm going with got hers for £20 and its a really good one haha...I recon im looking at more like £150!!! xxxxxxx

Hi Michelle,

I've used Freedom Insurance several times as they specialise in lupus. I was £16 to go to Rome last month but you will obviously be more expensive with your recent health problems. They are very reasonable though.

Well i have family in maroochydore so i am flying into brisbane and staying with them and travelling around a bit to sydney and maybe up to the reef not sure yet very exciting but just desperate to be a bit better for it! At least it will be your winter so hopefully won't have too much trouble with the sun! xxxx
