I need some advice. How do you make the nasal ulcers go away?? I have a steroid cream for my ever present butterfly rash, would it work for the nasal ulcers too?? I live in Oklahoma and there is no escaping the 100 degree heat and no matter where I go the sun finds me. I don't even go to Wal-Mart any more because of the lighting. Any good tips?

Hi chihiro!

Sorry to hear about your dilemma.. I know when Im flaring the nose sores come out bad! That said, at night, I try to put some neosporin on them or something moisturizing like vaseline so they dont dry out and 'crack'. It helps to relieve the pain too. Hope this helps!

for any sort of nasal sore, I always use vaseline (a little on the finger applied up the nose). Not something to be done in polite company  but definitely helpful. Somehow letting those pesky little things dry up really prolongs the agony, for me at anyrate.

Hi Chihiro,

Those nasal ulcers can be soooo painful. I used to use a steroid cream to treat them, but I can´t remember the name now. Apart from this, as Chal mentions, vaseline can help... at least a little.

I hope you get better soon, and stay away from the sun! 8) (I will too)
