Hi all,
Now that I have got all my results back I thought I would update you on my breathing difficulties expressed in my last post -
http://www.thelupussite.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69254&highlight=breathing+difficulty (for those who didn't see it before)
I went to see the lung specialist but by that time could breathe normally most of the time due to the prednisolone increase. He could hear slight whistling/roughness but no more.
He sent me for an asthma provocation test which came up negative and a scanner which shows up a couple of things - some calcification and something else but both apparently benign. My scanner is described as being almost "normal" so yipeeeeeee :trampo: that's really good news because it means that there is no Interstitial Lung Disease as they suspected there might be.
He believes the problems are simply caused by my muscle weakness problems linked to myositis - that's all :woohoo:
so that's really good news all round!
Katharine
