Hi all my dear friends that worry so much about me. I did want to let you know that my rhuemy had done a turn around and done something I never ever thought he would. He called the home office and spoke with the HR department. They chatted for awhile from what I understand from him. He did explain that I have sle and multiple other problems that are getting worse and that I am head stronge about working and he trying to help me as much at possible but they are making it impossible. Luckily he got a hold of the person my boss had been dealing with. The rhuemy told her what he wanted and she told him what she needed. So here is what we are all doing. Tharaldson company is taking care of all my medical bills for the next 6 months or unless I get medical coverage through somewhere else, this includes all meds, doctor visits, er visits, hospital stays, blood work, the whole thing. My rhuemy is emailing me everyday to see what my condition is and what is going on with me. He will adjust meds as needed for me. He told them that I need to see my chiro the whole time it could be everyday and they will pay for that for the 6 months also. He also set up so I can rest if I need to and for all of this all I have to do is work 32 hours a week and advise over the phone. They both talked about what was going on and the only way he would agree to let me do anything for them was if he was involved but I never thought he would fight to get them to pay for everything. He told me that this will let him watch me closely and allow me to all the meds, chiro appointments I need to be healthier for 6 months. He did tell them at anytime He could and would call them back if he thought I was in trouble in anyway. He would be then writing a not work note and it will also have a reason why I can't work so I will be able to get disability from them and he let them know that. I don't hate my rhuemy any more, all this time I thought he did not care. I can not believe he did all this and his nurse said that he did it this morning and she was there taking notes for my chart. I think I am speechless for the first time in My Whole Life. How did he get them to agree to so much surely it would of been cheaper for them to just hirer some help for here? Well just wanted you to know that the rhuemy really went to bat for me and also got me another weeks paid vacation if I make it the 4-6 weeks. He told them I will need time off to recover the stress on my body and they said ok and we will list it as vacation time. I am sorry I just don't understand any of this at all. When my boss comes back I am on no more than 24 hours and no, yes I said no shift to shift work and work a day off a day. He really put what he wanted down to them. My doctor called me himself and told me that he would be like my parent for the next 4-6weeks and that if I don't behave he will stop all the work, that means that I have to tell him everything right away. He has standing orders for labs and x-rays every 2 weeks. I think I hit the OMG factor!!!!

Tammy, that is wonderful! It is wonderfully amazing what can happen when doctors get their backs up! Very glad for you that he came thru.

WOW Tammy he really did a turn around in your defense. I am so happy that you have finally recieved the attention you deserve and to think you had to raise a ruckus before this doctor got off his butt and did something.

Aww tammy I am in floods of tears reading this. I am so happy for you. :hug: You are so strong and work so very hard against so many odds. You wouldn't give up.It's not very often good people get what they deserve and for him to step up like that really warms the heart. I know how less alone and vulnerable this will make you feel.I'm so happy for you xxxP
wow i am soooo pleased your rheumy has come through for you!! He must have had some kind of revelation or near death experience or something lol!! I think all our rheumy's could learn alot from him.
