So, I went back to the Dr. for my CT results. Everything seems normal, but she said she has no idea what to do now! She told me I could go on migraine tablets, but as my 'headache' is at the back of the head, she's not sure this will help.
Also saw the dermatologist. IMO he was very nice, informative and through. He said my hair falling out is Alopecia Areata, and there may be no 'cause', my discoloured toenails are fungal and the rash on my torso looks like ringworm. I did ask if I'd been treated before for ringworm (3 times), surely it should have gone and he agreed but wants to treat me everyday for four weeks anyway. Then I'll go back and see him, and if it isn't clear he will do a biopsy and look into rarer conditions(?! - didn't mention what those were). To be honest, I dont mind this because it's only another four weeks and if it goes then great! And if it doesn't then at least he's not going to give up on me.He also thinks my face is rosacea and has given me some gel to try. Oh, and he said I need to see a dentist about my mouth although he thinks it might be lichen planus.
Told the doc all this of course. Then I told her I'd made an appointment with the London Lupus clinic, so she said she wont put me on any tablets just yet, and I'm still not to go back on the pill, but to wait and see what they say.
So, roll on 25th nov! I'm feeling so tender and tired right now that it cant come on soon enough. But my 'phobias/fears/whatever' that I have seem to be calming a bit so that's good.
Question for those who might know, if they take my blood do you get the results that day or do you wait for them? If so, how long?
Anyway, thanks for reading again and I hope today finds you on an 'up'!
*gentle hugs all around*
