This is a bit of a gross one but does anyone else get diarrhoea when they are having a flare? im never sure if its actually a symptom of lupus or not but when im in a flare i really suffer with it aswell as nausea. anyone else?! lots of love xxx

Flaring definately upsets my tummy. My symptoms sound a lot like IBS when Im flaring. The last thing you need!

I find Imodium is great if you need quick relief otherwise a hot water bottle and a duvet, lots of fluids and a near by bathroom is the answer I find

Yes!! I get that as well. I discovered mine got worse when I tapered down off the steroids so I know that it is related.

I did read once that it occurrs in active disease for no obvious reason.

If its bad and I have to go out, I tend to take co codamol which helps.
