Hello

It probably depends where you live. I go to New Cross Hospital under Dr Ali in Rheumatology and have no complaints about the service plus it's the easiest for me to get to.
However other hospitals may have even more expertise for example in Dudley Russells Hall Hospital they have Lupus drop in days once a month linked to the West Midland Lupus group so they may have even more experience. Also I think Birmingham (? linked to the Birmingham University) are a centre of excellence with Dr Caroline Gordon.
Please feel free to join our local lupus group- the West Midlands branch of Lupus UK

I found this group after joining Lupus UK

but it may be easier to contact Yvonne Norton who runs our group.
I'm sure that if you contacted her she would be glad to hear from you.

The drop in clinic is held at Russells Hall Hospital in Ward A1 (maternity entrance & down corridor on right)
By the way I'm Denise - hope to meet up with you at local events/ next drop in clinic
