I thought this may be fun..for those of us with grandchildren.

My grandchildren call me Gamma, Grandma, and, E-Ma.

It is so funny. My 5 year old grandson, called me E-Ma, since he learned to talk. His other grandmother wants to be reffered to as grandmother..so he got confused and started to call me grandmother.

I told him..to call me E-Ma, just like he always has..Aren't they cute?

Love,
Sandy

Don't have any grandchildren yet, but when I do I think that they will just call me by my first name. I just can't think of any form of nana or grandma that I find tolerable. My sister who has grandchildren just has them call her by her first name.

Whatever floats your boat I guess

cheers

My mom is also called gamma by one of her grandkids. And while I think I'm hearing a pretty appropriate "grandma" from my daughter, my mom says it's more like "amma" ;)

Grandpa likes to be called "papa".

My kids call their Belgian grandma 'mamie'. My Mum gets called 'granny' and my Dad 'papy' (that's the Belgian version but he didn't like the English one and as there isn't a Belgian papy, he adopted that).

Since mine is only 5 months, he doesn't call me anything yet but I call myself granny, mamaw, nannie, and sometimes I forget and call myself mommy! I hope I don't confuse the little guy.

My daughter wants him to call me mammie, but since I called my G-Granny that, it makes me feel to old! I don't really care what he chooses to call me, as long as he calls me.
