Have any of you experienced a clonk kind of sound in your ear as you walk?
Felt nausaus, vision weakness, and acky feeling in your ear traveling into your neck on one side? Thursday my hearing in my left ear was at its worst. Now the hearing is better but this left side of me aches and feels like it's traveling down my spine. I have been sleeping alot and my whole body aches.

So which doc do i see? And what experience has any of you had to this.

Hi Florie,

That doesn't sound pleasant:worried:. I wonder if you might have an inner ear infection? The first step should be to see your primary care physician/GP. It may be a simple problem cured by a short antibiotic course. If not, your GP could refer to to an ENT (ear nose throat) doctor.

I hope you feel better soon:blush:

I agree that it sounds like an inner ear infection or some fluid in your ear that is not draining like it is supposed to. It can make you very dizzy and nausiated. Kind of feeling like you have vertigo. You should go to your regular doc and let them direct you to who you need to see. Good luck and i hope you feel better!!!

In reply of which doctor to go to

Hi all,
I went to an ENT yesterday. You were all right. I have an inner ear infection.
Located in the vestibule. He put me on METHYPREDNISOLONE pack.

when i am finished with the med and still feel that way he wants me to call him. Hopefully this med will work and dry up the fluid.

Thank you all for caring and answering my worry. This is not fun, i can't even drive, just plenty of rest. The reason why my neck and head hurts he explained that the infection makes you tense and the nerves tighten up. I can't wait to get off this feeling of a rocking boat.

As i was walking down the doctors hall to the exit, i lost balance and tripped :rotfl: and the doc said i heard that.

Hugs to all, Florie
