I was chatting to a colleague at work who suffers with fibromyalgia and she was telling me she swears by COQ10 and it helps significantly with her fatigue. I used to take it a few years ago when I had anaemia and it helped me back then. I'm worried about taking other stuff with the medication I'm taking - I guess I'm just not used to taking lots of medication. I'm currently on Plaquenil, diclofenac and a couple of Paracetomol and codine a day.

Do you think it would be safe to take CoQ10 and stuff like cod liver oil? What about things like valerian (helps me sleep). Would I be best asking a pharmacist or my rheumy?

Hi Ali,

I would check with your specialist before commencing other non-prescribed meds/vitamins!
